Our OPC in a great revitalizer of the organism that strengthens our defenses and our immune system
As we have seen in previous articles, and in view of the elements that make up OPC, different investigations have come to postulate that OPC is an excellent supplement to avoid hypertension and anemia, as well as to combat inflammation and prevent cancer and neurodegenerative diseases (Dybkowska, Sadowska, Świderski, et al., 2018; Lian, Nie, Zhang et al., 2016).
Furthermore, studies indicate that it stops the progression of cataracts, prevents skin aging, protects the lungs, and improves blood circulation (Toden, Ravindranathan, Gu et al., 2018).
And, in addition to all this, OPC acts beneficially for the organism, since it keeps connective tissues soft (González, Gil, Ginés et al., 2019).
At Algamania we have gone further, and we have not settled for offering a product that can be sold by the competition, but we have developed a unique product, aimed at enhancing its health benefits.
Let’s see below, in more detail, what characterizes our OPC.
THE OPC OF ALGAMANIA
Regarding other products that exist in the market, analyzing their composition, their percentage and their different associations with other elements, we can say that in
Algamania we have the best OPC on the market.
We have designed the product to enhance more vitamins than it already has (adding more vitamin C and E), more minerals (completing it with Selenium) and beneficial properties of algae (incorporating Spirulina), which makes our OPC fit perfectly into the effective enhancement of our body.
n this way, the operation and development of its formulation is translated into a significant amount of healthy benefits for our body.
Thus, in Algamania we aim to offer consumers interested in OPC nutritional supplements the best option for their health, turning our OPC into a great revitalizer of the body that strengthens our defenses and our immune system.
What elements does Algamania add to its OPC?
If we take into account that we have enriched this OPC extracted from the seeds of the grapes with a higher dose of Vitamin C and E, its properties increase significantly.
But, going further, we have included in our composition Selenium and Spirulina Algae, something that makes our OPC a highly competitive product, in order to make it much more complete and beneficial for health. Let’s take a closer look at these compounds:
FIRST COMPONENT ADDED: THE SPIRULINA ALGAE
We have already seen more extensively in a previous article what are the benefits of spirulina
In summary, we will remember what Spirulina brings to the body, in order to understand the competitive advantages that Algamania’s OPC presents compared to other OPCs in the market.
Spirulina is a microscopic spiral prokaryote, with important virtues for our body. This has been used since time immemorial as an important source of nutrients, since it contains a concentration of between 55 and 70% of high quality assimilable proteins, in addition to being characterized by having B vitamins, phycocyanin, iron, manganese, chlorophyll, and higher amounts of beta-carotene than carrots.
Therefore, we can say that given its properties, this cyanobacterium is classified as a food more than sought after, since it has amino acids (contains the eight essentials), vitamins (A, B, C, D, E, F and K), minerals (iodine, potassium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus and sulfur), essential fatty acids, nucleic acids (DNA and RNA), chlorophyll and a wide range of phytochemicals with antioxidant effects.
It is considered, therefore, a great contribution to the organism, since it contains the vast majority of proteins and nutrients that it uses and that are necessary for the construction of cells and the formation of antibodies.
Consequently, it is currently considered an essential dietary supplement, thanks to its numerous benefits.
SECOND COMPONENT ADDED: MORE AMOUNT OF VITAMIN C
Vitamin C, as we know, is one of the many antioxidants we know of and, as such, is a nutrient that blocks some of the damage caused by free radicals.
Free radicals are produced when the body breaks down the food we eat, or when we are exposed, for example, to tobacco smoke or radiation, and can play an essential role in serious diseases, such as cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and other disorders like arthritis.
Consequently, studies show that the accumulation of free radicals, over time, is responsible for the cellular aging process and the origin of multiple disorders and diseases.
The main function of the vitamin C that we add to OPC is to form an important protein in the body, used to produce the skin, tendons, ligaments and blood vessels.
In turn, Vitamin C is essential for us to heal wounds and form scar tissue, a key factor in repairing and maintaining cartilage, bones and teeth, in addition to allowing humans to absorb iron (Kantartzis, Fritsche and Bombrich, 2018).
The human body cannot produce Vitamin C by itself, nor does it store it, so it is very important to include in our daily diet foods that contain this Vitamin, as well as taking nutritional supplements that complement the possible lack of Vitamin C that have the body.
For this reason, and because we know how important this vitamin is for humans, we have added it to our OPC, thus enhancing its properties.
THIRD COMPONENT ADDED: MORE AMOUNT OF VITAMIN E

Cells use Vitamin E to interact with each other, helping them carry out many important functions.
Like vitamin C, Vitamin E is an antioxidant that protects body tissue from damage caused by free radicals and from the conditions that these can cause in the body.
Vitamin E helps stabilize cell membranes and is also essential in the formation of red blood cells, helping to use Vitamin K. It also helps to dilate blood vessels and prevent blood from clotting within them.
Since in Algamania we know that it also helps to keep the immune system strong against viruses and bacteria, we have included it in our OPC composition, in order to multiply its beneficial properties for the body.
FOURTH ADDED COMPONENT: EL SELENIO
Selenium is an essential mineral for the proper functioning of our body, and for the body to stay healthy and away from disease.
We obtain it through food, and it is important for various biological functions: for reproduction, for the function of the thyroid gland, for the production of DNA and as an oxidant, to protect the body against infections and the damage they cause. free radicals.
I also intervened in the metabolism of fats and there is even some scientific evidence (González, Gil, Ginés, et al., 2019; Dybkowska, Sadowska, Świderski, Rakowska and Wysocka, 2018) that point to a relationship between this antioxidant and cancer prevention (although more scientific evidence is still needed to support the theory that this micronutrient has an anticancer effect).
Under normal circumstances, and in a normal diet, it is difficult to produce a Selenium deficiency, which would manifest itself, essentially, in stiffness, swelling or pain in the joints, as well as in considerable cardiac damage (Ravindranathan, Pasham, Balaji, et al., 2018).
However, and currently, medical consultations are verifying that a part of the population suffers from deficiencies in Selenium levels, mainly for two reasons: the first, the poverty of the land used for cultivation and, the second, the acquisition of new dietary parameters, such as vegetarian diets or diets that suppress cereals in order to avoid gluten, according to different scientific studies (Dumoulin, Gaudout and Lemaire, 2016).
What symptoms would this Selenium deficiency reveal ?:
- Thyroid disorders
- Mental confusion (lack of mental clarity, poor memory, concentration problems)
- Low mood and anxiety
- Tiredness and muscle weakness
- Hair loss
- Fragile skin and nails
- Frequent colds and infections
Given that Algamania watches over the health of its consumers, and aware that there is an increasing deficiency of Selenium, it has also incorporated this mineral into its OPC, in order to make up for its deficiency through intelligent supplementation.
In conclusion, the OPC from Algamania, enriched with Alga Spirulina, Selenium and Vitamins C and E, is the best supplement that we can find on the market, given all the properties that, together, they contribute to the body.
Without forgetting, in addition, that it is one of the best natural antioxidants that exists, whose power is 50 times more powerful than Vitamin E, and 20 times more powerful than Vitamin C.
What are you waiting for to introduce this supplement in your diet?
